We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Service Estimator who isn’t afraid to get their boots on the ground.     • Key Responsibilities

    This role is responsible for evaluating service requests, inspecting commercial roofing systems, and preparing accurate estimates for repairs, maintenance, and small-scale re-roofing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, service technicians, and internal teams.

  • Conduct on-site inspections of commercial roofs to assess damage, wear, and service needs.
  • Develop detailed and accurate estimates for service repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor re-roofing projects.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and project managers to ensure estimates reflect actual field conditions.
  • Communicate with clients to clarify project scope, present proposals, and answer questions.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding estimates and proposals to support sales efforts.
  • Maintain current knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize estimating software and CRM tools to generate and manage proposals.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.

    • Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required 

    Education

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience acceptable

    • Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in commercial roofing applications, management, and estimating
  • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up, metal).
  • Proficiency in estimating software (Edge preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a service-focused commercial roofing environment.

    • Skills & Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Use and operation of drones a Plus
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital proposal tools.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Certification Preferred
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug Test
  • Minimum 18 years of age

    • Working Conditions | Environment | Special Requirements

  • Full time onsite
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks during roof inspections.

  • Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing upon reasonable suspicion or any other regulatory requirement.
