Cleveland Construction Inc is seeking 3 experienced Drywall Project Managers to oversee commercial drywall and interior framing projects from preconstruction through completion. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality interiors on complex commercial and government projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead drywall and interior framing projects from planning through closeout.

  • Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of required resources.

  • Develop project teams, establish goals, and assign individual responsibilities.

  • Coordinate the efforts of architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.

  • Monitor construction progress and conduct regular status meetings with subcontractors.

  • Maintain strict adherence to budget guidelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and on time.

  • Identify and proactively communicate potential design or construction issues that could lead to disputes or claims.

  • Oversee compliance with OSHA and commercial job site safety standards.

  • Travel to various construction sites as required.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years preferred of drywall project management experience in commercial construction.

  • Bachelors Degree preferred (Construction Management or related field).

  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and direct on-site project teams to successful completion.

  • Strong understanding of MEP building systems.

  • Thorough knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective time management and sound decision-making ability.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel and/or relocate based on project needs.

  • Employment eligibility verification (E-Verify compliant).

  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.

Technical & Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with management cost software.

  • Comfortable using iPad/tablet devices in field operations.

  • Familiarity with web-based document management systems.

  • Strong overall computer proficiency in construction management software.

Physical Demands & Work Conditions
  • Ability to travel to and access active construction sites.

  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

  • Ability to navigate stairs, scaffolding, ladders, and elevation changes.

  • Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and walking job sites regularly.

  • Ability to move or position materials weighing up to 85 pounds when necessary.
