TITLE: Detox Support Staff

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid NJ Driver's License required.
• Proof of Valid Registration Required.
• Proof of Valid Insurance required.
• Proficient in Computer Applications required.
• Proficient in Writing Skills required.

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of leadership, the Detox Support Staff is responsible for client safety, monitoring client behavior and assisting nurses and counselors with various aspects of client activities as needed.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

LICENSE/CERT: Valid NJ Driver's License required. Proof of Valid Registration Required. Proof of Valid Insurance required.

EXPERIENCE: Proficient in Computer Applications required. Proficient in Writing Skills required.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, and reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier, and telephone.
