Position: Shuttle Ambassador
Schedule: 4 days on and 3 days off
Location: The Courtyard (Las Vegas, Nevada) – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid)
Starting Salary Range: $17 per hour
The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.

What’s the role?
The Arrow Ambassador is responsible for providing on-board support and guidance to guests, accessing essential services and community resources through the Arrow transportation service. This role serves as an ambassador on the transport vehicle. Assisting guests during transit, answering questions, and helping ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The Arrow Ambassador reports to the Shift Supervisor and plays a vital role in helping guests successfully connect to medical care, social services, housing resources, and employment opportunities.

What you’ll do:
Guest Transportation:
•Serve as an on-board ambassador on the Arrow vehicle, helping and guidance guests during transit.
•Follow an established route and schedule, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs.
•Aid guests with disabilities or mobility challenges as needed.
Guest Engagement & Support:
•Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide guidance on available services.
•Ensure a calm and respectful environment during transport, intervening in conflicts when necessary.
•Maintain open communication with staff regarding guest concerns or special needs.
Safety & Compliance:
•Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues.
•Follow all emergency procedures in case of accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies.
Administrative Duties:
•Maintain accurate records of trips and guest transport logs.
•Communicate with Shift Supervisors regarding route adjustments, guest issues, or program improvements.
•Assist in other transportation-related duties as needed.
Other Duties as Assigned:
•Support general operations of the Courtyard as directed by Shift Supervisors.
•Participate in staff meetings and required training sessions.

What’s the work environment:
•This role requires riding in a bus/van for extended periods and interacting with guests in various emotional and physical conditions.
•Must be able to assist guests in and out of the vehicle as needed.
•Work primarily takes place outdoors and inside a vehicle, with occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.

What you’ll need to start:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Experience in passenger transport, social services, or homeless services preferred.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing homelessness.
•Knowledge of local resources and service providers is a plus.
•Must pass drug screening and background check in order to start employment with Novum Health.
