Geotechnical Engineer I at Weston & Sampson – Foxborough, Massachusetts

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer with 0-3 years of experience to join our team in Foxborough, MA. In this role, you will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to support various geotechnical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging professionals and/or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct field Investigations and soil sampling
• Perform geotechnical analysis and testing
• Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports and proposals
• Collaborate with project teams to develop engineering solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Participate in construction observations and monitoring

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with concentration in geotechnical engineering
• Master's degree in geotechnical engineering is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in ACAD drafting software
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites

Salary Range: $72,000 - $78,000 based on education
