About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY:
Central Peninsula Hospital is seeking a skilled Food & Nutrition Services Director to lead the Clinical Nutrition and Food Service departments. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals and overseeing clinical nutrition care in compliance with dietary standards, food safety regulations, and accreditation requirements.
You’ll manage food production, patient meal services, and catering while driving departmental efficiency, quality improvement, and staff performance to support outstanding patient care and satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification and a high school diploma may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree. -
Minimum 5 years of Food Services Management experience in a healthcare setting.

Strong knowledge of food preparation, storage, and handling techniques.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and drive operational efficiency.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with clinical and support staff
