About This Position
Position Summary
The Program Manager works closely with production control and production departments on the status of all parts and helps to ensure on-time delivery, while regularly communicating the delivery status and problem resolution to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and make commitments on all customer purchase order changes (POC’s), AOG’s and spares quotations within established guidelines. Once scheduling and pricing results are developed, report change incorporation directly to the customer.
- Responsible for maintaining any customer follow-up reports for schedule, quantity and purchase order revisions.
- Coordinate and prepare for on-site customer visits and program reviews.
- Coordinate all issues involving shop floor schedules and flows with shop floor supervision, quality assurance (including MRB), purchasing, engineering, programming, and contracts.
- Maintains the integrity of the scheduling system by coordinating the updating of key MRP system information with appropriate personnel
- Produce and analyze capacity charts, throughput reports, WIP reports, etc.
- Supports New Product Development team meetings as appropriate.

Education and Experience:
- Ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience concentrated in Contracts or Program Management in the aerospace/military industry working with high profile customers.
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of production, production scheduling and MRP systems preferred.
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of detail orientation and analytical skills required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic math and reading comprehension.
- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write appropriate correspondences.
- Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
