This role is a strategic opportunity to lead and optimize global payroll, benefits, and total rewards operations for a fast-growing, international workforce. You will ensure operational excellence, compliance, and scalability while partnering with People Operations, Finance, and external vendors. The role requires balancing hands-on oversight with strategic initiatives, including compensation cycles, reporting, and systems optimization. You will drive process improvements, implement robust controls, and support the design of scalable total rewards programs that attract, retain, and engage top talent worldwide. - Oversee global payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity across multiple geographies
- Manage benefits administration and vendor relationships, including brokers, third-party administrators, and retirement programs
- Lead total rewards initiatives, including compensation cycles, benchmarking, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain internal controls, audit processes, and governance frameworks for payroll and benefits systems
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system optimization across payroll, benefits, and total rewards operations
- Serve as the escalation point for payroll, benefits, and compliance inquiries, providing expertise and resolution
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in payroll, benefits, or total rewards management, with exposure to global operations
- Experience managing payroll across multiple geographies (US and EMEA required) and knowledge of compliance, tax regulations, and statutory benefits
- Hands-on experience with payroll and HRIS systems such as HiBob, ADP Workforce Now, Deel, Papaya Global, or similar platforms
- Experience supporting compensation processes, including merit cycles, bonus programs, and benchmarking
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to operational accuracy and integrity
- Experience managing vendors, brokers, and third-party administrators, with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment and drive process improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with global payroll and benefits platforms, system implementations, and automation initiatives
- Familiarity with Total Rewards analytics and reporting to inform strategic decision-making
- Proven ability to scale total rewards operations and build efficient, compliant processes
