Reporting to the VP of International Franchise Development and Sales, this role is the engine of the international franchise sales process — managing the inbound lead pipeline, pre-qualifying prospective partners, conducting international market research, and ensuring every candidate moves through the discovery and award process with the warmth and professionalism that defines the Magnolia Bakery brand. - Serve as the first point of contact for all international franchise inquiries, responding promptly and professionally to inbound leads via phone, email, and digital channels to create a strong first impression of the Magnolia Bakery brand.
- Screen and pre-qualify prospective franchisees by evaluating their financial capacity, operational background, and market suitability against Magnolia Bakery’s established criteria, ensuring a high-quality candidate pipeline.
- Own and maintain the franchise sales pipeline in FranConnect, keeping prospect records accurate and up-to-date and providing regular reporting to the VP of International Franchise Development and Sales.
- Support the end-to-end franchise sales process by coordinating initial discovery calls, business presentations, and market review meetings, and preparing comprehensive candidate dossiers ahead of each stage.
- Conduct international market research to identify and assess new expansion territories, analyzing competitive landscape, consumer trends, economic indicators, and regulatory environments across target regions including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and other priority markets.
- Proactively prospect qualified international franchise candidates through outreach campaigns, trade show participation, industry associations, and digital lead generation, supporting the department’s short- and long-term growth goals.
- Support in the coordination of Discovery Day process including scheduling, logistics, candidate communications, and preparation of materials, ensuring a seamless and compelling experience for prospective franchise partners.
- Coordinate with legal and operations teams in preparation for market signings and Franchise Approval Committee reviews.
- Support post-award onboarding by coordinating handoffs to the International Franchise Operations team, ensuring a smooth transition for newly signed franchise partners into the Magnolia Bakery family.
