About This Position
This is an on-site position, located in Miramar, FL.
Intern - Lifecycle Services Rotational Internship
The Lifecycle Services Rotational Internship runs from May through August. The internship will begin in May through mid-Junesupporting Supply Chain operations, with a focus on ERP support and procurement activities. The internship will conclude with rotation into Delivery Management from mid-June through August.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with procurement activities including supplier management and contract negotiation
- Performs day-to-day responsibilities in assigned role to gain experience, develop business acumen, and aid in project work and recommendations
- Performs quantitative and qualitative analysis to support the operations team to support business projects and objectives
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices.
- Inquisitive and a quick learner
- Must have the ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks and time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer focused, by being passionate about collaboration and building strong relationships
- Experience in MS Office Suite; familiarity with third-party reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI) is a plus.
Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, or similar field
- Demonstrated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
Travel
- Must be able to travel, as needed, to Corporate Headquarters or warehouse locations in Florida
Working Conditions
- Remote/Hybrid working options are available.
- Office setting with sitting for extended periods of time
