Overview
Responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This includes managing and upkeep of all the automated warehouse assets, facility, managing maintenance budget and resources. In addition, this position is responsible managing multiple shifts, supervisors, mechanics and upkeep staff. Responsibilities
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $75,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.

Overview
Responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance department. This includes managing and upkeep of all the automated warehouse assets, facility, managing maintenance budget and resources. In addition, this position is responsible managing multiple shifts, supervisors, mechanics and upkeep staff. Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules
- Maintains equipment assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals and manages the department budget
- Manages maintenance personnel by setting direction and priorities
- Provides training and continuous development on all maintenance personnel and performs evaluations on direct reports
- Drives the maintenance and reliability initiative focused on Preventative & Predictive Maintenance, not reactive
- Strong knowledge/experience of managing maintenance through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Must have a hands-on work ethic
- Strong knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability
- Work closely with all vendors and Hotline support
- Detailed oriented and organized
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, word and data basis
- Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems, conveyors, compressors, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, plc
- Experience in troubleshooting and break down analysis
- Ability to track and report on activity, email daily shift reports
- Access current maintenance work processes to optimize efficiency
- Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs
- Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for repairing necessary parts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Create a work environment with safety as a high priority
- Maintain department budget and payroll
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (porters, janitors)
- High School or GED required; Bachelors degree in related field preferred
- Experience in Maintenance Management
- Extensive knowledge in a variety of mechanical & electrical systems such as VFDs, servo motors, encoders and PLC
- Experience with preventative maintenance (CMMS) data, charts
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns
- Ability to manage, coach and discipline his or her direct reports
