Key Responsibilities:
· Perform diversified machining duties to set up, load/unload, and machine large and/or tight-tolerance parts in accordance with blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and written and/or oral instructions under the direction of the Machine Shop Foreperson.
· Interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and specifications to perform accurate machine set-ups, including indicating and aligning parts to close tolerances.
· Operate a variety of CNC machines, including Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers, Vertical Double Column/Gantry Mills, and lathes of various sizes and configurations.
· Machine materials such as aluminum, steel, and alloy steels in multiple forms including castings, forgings, extrusions, plate, structural shapes, and weldments.
· Use overhead cranes and appropriate rigging equipment to safely load and unload parts from machining centers.
· Perform precision measurements and inspections of critical features using various measuring instruments to verify compliance with tight tolerance requirements; record and maintain required inspection and production documentation.
· Maintain tooling and measuring devices to ensure proper condition and accuracy for producing tight-tolerance components.
· Work collaboratively with Engineering and supervision to ensure successful First Part/First Article production.
· Perform routine daily machine maintenance and cleaning; maintain accurate daily production records.
· Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area in a typically loud manufacturing environment.
· Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and actively promote a strong safety culture throughout the plant.
· Perform other similar, related, and assigned duties as required.

Requirements:Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· 1+ years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
· Detail-oriented work style, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
· Ability to read work orders, instructions, and technical specifications
· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work independently or within a team
