Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Operations & Growth Leader to drive portfolio expansion across the East Bay and greater San Francisco Bay Area.

While HK Multifamily Management is active in Northern California, we are focused on expanding our footprint within the East Bay and surrounding Bay Area markets. This role is responsible for securing new management contracts, strengthening market presence, and increasing portfolio density across targeted corridors.

Our expansion will prioritize multifamily properties consisting of a minimum of 100 units per building. We are not targeting small scattered-site properties.

This role begins as a commission-based opportunity designed for a high-level producer who thrives in relationship-driven growth and long-term portfolio building. As regional density increases, this role may evolve into structured leadership and operational oversight opportunities.

An active California Real Estate License is required for this position.

We are specifically seeking individuals who bring an established networking presence within the Bay Area real estate community including relationships with:

Multifamily owners (100+ unit buildings)

Private investors

Syndicators

Asset managers

Brokers

Developers

Candidates with existing connectivity that can directly accelerate East Bay and Bay Area portfolio growth will be strongly prioritized.

This is not an entry-level sales role. We are seeking a strategic growth partner capable of strengthening and scaling our Northern California presence.

Target Market Focus This role will focus on the East Bay and surrounding Bay Area markets, including (but not limited to):

Oakland

Berkeley

Fremont

Hayward

Walnut Creek

Concord

San Leandro

San Francisco

San Mateo County

Alameda and Contra Costa Counties

The objective is to establish strategic density within defined ownership groups and corridors rather than pursue scattered expansion.

Operational Support HK Multifamily Management provides centralized infrastructure to support growth without requiring the regional leader to build a full back-office structure.

Centralized support includes:

Accounting

Yardi systems (Yardi Elevate platform)

Marketing

Human Resources

Vendor onboarding processes

Structured operational systems and reporting

This allows the East Bay growth leader to focus primarily on portfolio acquisition and regional development while leveraging company systems.

Market Development In addition to business development responsibilities, this role will help strengthen HK Multifamily Managements operational footprint across the Bay Area.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting onboarding and transition of newly secured properties

Assisting in establishing and strengthening Bay Area vendor relationships

Coordinating with centralized accounting, marketing, HR, and Yardi teams

Maintaining operational standards and performance consistency

Key Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and secure new multifamily property management contracts (100+ unit buildings)

Build and maintain strategic relationships with multifamily owners, private investors, syndicators, brokers, developers, and asset managers

Leverage existing Bay Area real estate network to accelerate regional growth

Represent HK Multifamily Management at Bay Area networking events and real estate associations

Develop referral partnerships within the Northern California investment community

Build and manage a structured sales pipeline using CRM systems

Track conversion metrics and optimize business development performance

Collaborate with executive leadership during key presentations and contract negotiations

This role is about selling performance, operational excellence, and long-term asset value not just property management services.

Qualifications Active California Real Estate License (Required)

510+ years of experience in multifamily property management, asset management, brokerage, or business development

Proven track record in portfolio acquisition or revenue growth

Strong understanding of NOI, rent strategy, expense management, and asset performance metrics

Must have Yardi experience (Yardi Elevate preferred)

Familiarity with California landlord-tenant laws and Bay Area rent regulations

Established Bay Area real estate network strongly preferred

Existing relationships with multifamily owners and asset managers highly desirable

Strong CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar)

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong accountability and performance orientation

Compensation Structure Commission-Based Position

40% of one months equivalent management fees per multifamily property secured

Commission calculated based on contracted management fee at signing

Paid upon successful contract execution and onboarding milestone

This position offers significant earning potential for a high-performing producer as Northern California portfolio density increases.

As the East Bay and Bay Area portfolio matures, compensation structure may evolve to include additional incentives, leadership authority, and long-term regional oversight opportunities.
