DUTIES
The 2-month Instructor will work full-time alongside the Director, Assistant Director and other Eureka staff. Their role will be to organize materials and resources, curriculum development and teaching curriculum. The summer camps will start July and run through to August. In addition to curriculum development and teaching, instructors will work to problem solve student behavior issues, develop the Magic show and fully engage with campers during break and lunchtime activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current TRU student in a degree stream preferably with some science background
- Experience working with children preferably in an educational setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with experience as a team player
- Problem solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills at both a personal and event level
- Ability to think "outside the box" and be creative in all aspects of the job
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle an asset
Wage:$19.85/ hour
