What You Will Do
  • Informs Assistant Deans of student status and changes; maintains nursing and pre-nursing progression list; serves as liaison for student communication as requested.
  • Collaborates with unit faculty and staff to develop, oversee, and implement new administrative processes across various academic programs.
  • Assists Deans in forecasting future expenses based on enrollment data.
  • Maintains records of financial transactions to provide forecasts and advice to the Director of Business Affairs on future expenditures.
  • Coordinates all administrative aspects of new student orientation including logistical arrangements and student communication.
  • Coordinates logistical arrangements relating to conferences and meetings, and prepares necessary documentation and reimbursements.
  • Triages incoming School of Nursing inquiries.
  • Triages incoming mail and ensures students are seen as requested.
  • Creates drafted correspondence on behalf of the Assistant Deans.
  • Manages the school's Blackboard Organizational Shelf for all academic programs, oversees and distributes program-specific announcements to students, and ensures that posted handbooks and clinical schedules remain current and up to date.
  • In collaboration with the curriculum committee, manages and coordinates textbooks and student handbooks revisions.
  • Oversees student laptop loaner program.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Two (2) years (24 months) of work experience comparable to the third level of this series.
