This role is ideal for a results-driven professional responsible for managing global supplier relationships and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee planning, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier performance, while collaborating across multiple functions to support critical medical production. You will lead initiatives to optimize cost, mitigate risk, and maintain business continuity. This position requires strong organizational skills, flexibility across time zones, and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of products while supporting strategic growth and operational excellence. Success in this role demands a balance of tactical execution and strategic planning.
Accountabilities:- Serve as the primary contact for an assigned set of global suppliers and ensure achievement of supplier performance targets.
- Organize and lead business reviews, issue management, and cross-functional meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations and drive improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage forecasting, planning, purchasing, inventory, and RFP processes to support new product introductions and alternative vendor selections.
- Collaborate with manufacturing development, quality, and customer care teams to align capacity plans and meet customer requirements.
- Implement risk mitigation and business continuity plans, providing solutions and securing internal support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and internal process requirements (QMS, SOX).
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience in supplier management, supply chain, planning, or inventory management.
- Strong understanding of finance, operations, inventory management, supply chain, quality, and administration processes.
- Proven problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience delivering project presentations to executive-level management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
- Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of working across different time zones and flexible schedules.
