Patient Care Assistant at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall – Newburgh, New York

Pay Rate: $21.45 per hour

Position Summary: Provides basic nursing care tasks for designated patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Able to follow written directions and record information using high school level literacy skills. Visual and auditory acuity. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Successful completion of a Nurses Aide program or equivalent.

Experience: One (1) year of patient care experience is required, preferably in a hospital environment. Ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal skills required.
