Mat'l Handler/Production at Corvac Composites, LLC – Kentwood, Michigan

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• Competent reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment putting safety first
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
• High School Diploma/ GED and automotive experience preferred

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to get HILO License

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
• Organization of empty containers in storage and outside of the facility
• Responsible to take care of components, cardboard, fiber and put in the correct location on the plant floor
• Help with monthly and yearly inventory
• Ability to operator a handheld scanner for accurate inventory tracking
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
• Follow standardized work instructions
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant
• Properly stage loads and store product in proper locations
• Responsible to empty dumpster throughout the plant.
• Ability to train others as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
