The Scarlett Group is a full-service IT firm with clients throughout Florida and the Southeast. We offer IT Audits, IT Consulting, and Managed and Co-managed IT Services. We support the middle market, small businesses, and Government.
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Level 1 Technical Support Specialist to join our IT support team. In this entry-level role, you will provide front-line technical assistance, troubleshoot user issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations for our clients or internal teams. This is an onsite job. MUST LIVE IN LOCAL JACKSONVILLE, FL AREA.
Compensation:
• $38,000 - $43,000 Annually

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to and resolve basic technical support requests, including hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Assist users with troubleshooting operating systems, desktop applications, and network connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support or other appropriate teams.
• Document incidents, solutions, and technical processes in the ticketing system.
• Perform basic hardware setup, maintenance, and replacement for desktops, laptops, and related equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication with users and clients.
• Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
• Must live in local Jacksonville, FL area
• Strong interest in IT and technical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required; relevant coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
• A valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work onsite
• Must live in local Jacksonville, FL area
