Position Purpose:
The Lot Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service by working closely with the Customer Experience Leader to ensure smooth and efficient yard operations. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of customer pick-up and delivery, maintaining an organized and safe lot, and assisting with various yard-related tasks to enhance the overall customer experience. .
Position Responsibilities:
Trailers
- Respond to Greetly notifications when pickup or delivery is complete
- Relay information to the Customer Experience Leader when a trailer comes on the yard.
- Inspect & park returned trailers and new trailers that are delivered.
- Locate trailers using YARD DOG app
- Clean out trailer upon delivery prior to assessment
- Remove tags on sold trailers.
- Marking trailers with customer names, year model, and sold or lease according to fulfillment
- Release sold and leased trailers.
- When releasing a leased trailer make sure it has a current DOT, tag, and QR code. Also make sure the registration and DOT paperwork are in the document holder.
- Assist customers that come in to inspect equipment.
- Weighing / Scaling at times.
- Install new customer Decals per request
Trucks
- Respond to Greetly notifications when pickup or delivery is complete
- Relay information to the Customer Experience Leader when a trailer comes on the yard.
- Inspect trucks that come out of the shops for redo’s (TEL and CVEN Trucks)
- Locate Trucks using YARD DOG app
- Marking trucks with customer names, year model, and sold or lease according to fulfillment.
- Release sold and leased trucks.
- Transport trucks around the yard when needed.
- Assist customers that come in to inspect equipment.
- Inspect new equipment upon arrival.
- PDI new trucks upon arrival
General
- Continuously learn, share, and implement improvements to enhance processes and deliver world-class service and support.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong working knowledge of Trucks & Trailers.
- Familiar with IOS / Apple platform or IPADS
- Database experience.
- Reliable attendance.
- Complete all documents associated with releasing & inspecting equipment.
- Positive, high energy and desire to work hard to accomplish goals.
- High level of data accuracy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Networking internally and externally to manage and solve problems.
- Be a forward thinker and suggest process improvements.
- Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team oriented and able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CDL experience preferred but not required
Wage
$22 per hour
