Warehouse Utility II at PROPAK LOGISTICS LLC – West Sacramento, California

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Warehouse Utility II is a cross-trained operations role responsible for supporting multiple areas of the warehouse. This position builds on foundational warehouse experience by adding equipment operation, facility support responsibilities, and productivity ownership.

In this role, you will help maintain production flow through material handling, sorting, pallet processing, equipment use, and facility upkeep. • Cross-train across multiple warehouse functions to support daily operations
• Sort pallets, RPCs, boxes, and other materials by hand or with machine assistance
• Inspect materials during sorting to ensure quality standards and vendor requirements are met
• Maintain productivity standards and rate-per-hour expectations
• Assist with pallet repairs when needed
• Operate pallet painting equipment and ensure proper paint quality and application
• Support baler operations including tracking damaged cardboard, loading materials, tying bales, and coordinating safe removal
• Assist with facility upkeep including sweeping and maintaining organized workspaces
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or IR sort machines when assigned (training provided if needed)
• Follow all Propak safety policies and operational procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational goals

• Previous experience in warehouse, production, logistics, or manual labor environments preferred
• Sit-down forklift experience strongly preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment
• Willingness to learn multiple roles and assist where needed
• Strong reliability, attendance, and teamwork mindset
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Capable of repeatedly lifting and moving materials, which may be heavy.
• Requires good manual dexterity for sorting and processing items at an established rate.
• Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions and safety alarms in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent vision for inspecting materials and observing surroundings for safety.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will primarily work in a warehouse environment. This may include exposure to dust, fluctuating temperatures (hot and cold), and moderate to high noise levels. Steel-toed boots and other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
