The Building Trades Department is seeking applicants for an instructor in the HVAC AOS degree program. The position responsibilities include instructing post secondary students in plumbing and HVAC principles and application. Academic instruction will include classroom lecture and hands on activity on and off campus sites. Outside of teaching responsibilities, the position will require involvement in the campus community and university service to include student advisement, recruiting, committee service, curriculum development, and maintaining industry relations. Anticipated start date; Fall 2026
Job Requirements:
Applicants must be well versed in heating and electrical theories', as well as expertise in plumbing and air conditioning service and installation.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5-7 years of trade service. Preferred candidates will hold an associates degree in a related field. Teaching experience in a technical environment is preferred.
