Accountabilities
  • Act as the primary SME for legislation across North America and Canada, maintaining deep knowledge of local frameworks.
  • Advise on authoritative sources, acquisition models, and jurisdictional nuances.
  • Define content acquisition requirements to ensure reliable source coverage.
  • Provide expert guidance on conversion rules and publication workflows.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with customer needs and global product roadmaps.
  • Identify new legislative opportunities to strengthen market competitiveness.
  • Translate legislative requirements into actionable backlogs and user stories.
  • Define CMS requirements to support legislative content.
  • Estimate high-quality editorial efforts for various activities.
  • Identify risks and constraints, communicating them to stakeholders.
  • Work with GTO to ensure efficient editorial workflows.
  • Test new tools and provide actionable feedback.
  • Coordinate editorial expertise across multiple projects.
Requirements
  • Law degree (or equivalent).
  • Practice experience in legislative or regulatory work (desirable).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in legal research or editorial roles.
  • Proven ability to lead agile ceremonies and apply agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency and experience with AI tools.
  • Strong understanding of legislative frameworks and processes.
