Software Engineer II at Bankers Financial Corp – St. Petersburg, Florida

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with strong automation experience and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure to design and deliver secure, scalable automation and integration solutions. This role will support a variety of cross-functional initiatives focused on process optimization, workflow automation, system integration, and cloud-native development. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys building scalable solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. This role partners with business and technical teams to reduce manual effort, eliminate rework, improve throughput, and increase reliability across core operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, andmaintainautomation solutions across multiple business functions
• Build and optimize workflows using Azure servicessuch as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, AppServicesandothercloud-native tools
• Implement Agentic AI workflows
• Design, develop, andmaintainautomation solutions across multiple business functions (workflow automation,integrationorchestration, event-driven processing).
• Develop APIs, scripts, and integration pipelines to connect internal and external systems
• Implement CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders toidentifyautomation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing solutions
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance best practices are followed
• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Logic Apps, App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure AD)
• Experience building automation solutions and system integrations
• Proficiencyin one or moreprogramminglanguages such as C#orPython
• Familiarity with Scripting/CLI Tools
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience withAzure DevOpsor other version control systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
• Familiarity withDataIntegrationTools and ETL processes
• Experience in enterprise environments with security and compliance requirements
