This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Workers Comp Product Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the growth and efficiency of our Workers Compensation Segment. Your expertise will combine technology and data insights to optimize premium production and manage loss ratios effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including underwriting, technology, and finance to innovate processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insurance products. Accountabilities- Develop and maintain product scorecards to monitor key product performance indicators.
- Report premiums, losses, and loss triangles, preparing data for external actuarial analysis.
- Provide subject matter expertise on insured policy and claim data.
- Monitor state laws and regulations affecting policy and claims operations.
- Work with underwriting leaders to manage rating plans and analyze pricing segmentation opportunities.
- Lead implementation efforts for policy forms kits in conjunction with the tech team.
- Identify requirements to streamline underwriting processes working with the tech team.
- Ensure accuracy of claims data ingestion and reporting with the tech team.
- Evaluate competitive advantages and identify opportunities for product enhancements.
- Optimize financial results by balancing production, loss ratios, and expenses.
- 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance product management with a focus on workers compensation.
- Familiarity with P&C insurance policy and claims work processes.
- Experience with Workers Comp bureaus and relevant rating organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and proven process analysis and automation competency.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of actuarial fundamentals related to insurance metrics.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline preferred; advanced degrees such as a Master's or CPCU are a plus.
