A well-established and highly respected public accounting and consulting firm is seeking Assurance Senior Associates to join its Audit team. This role provides the opportunity to work across a variety of industries including manufacturing/distribution, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, staffing, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits, reviews, benefit plan audits, and compilations.
- Prepare accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements and disclosures.
- Document and test internal controls for various types of engagements.
- Support senior team members on consulting and advisory projects.
- Supervise, train, and mentor Associates and Interns.
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and client expectations.
- Identify and resolve client issues proactively.
- Strengthen technical skills through training, CPE, and on-the-job learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA license preferred.
- 2–4 years of public accounting audit experience.
- Industry experience in transportation, manufacturing, or construction is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of audit principles and proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Engagement and IDEA is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, client-service mindset, and ability to manage engagements.
- Willingness to travel as needed and strong self-motivation.
