The Senior Director Analyst will serve as a trusted thought leader and strategic advisor on cloud infrastructure and digital transformation for enterprise clients. This role combines deep technical expertise with market insight to guide organizations in public cloud adoption, hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, and infrastructure optimization. You will produce actionable research and insights that inform C-level decisions, influence vendor selection, and shape cloud strategies across complex IT environments. The role involves analyzing emerging trends, evaluating technology platforms, and providing pragmatic guidance that drives measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor analysts, and engage directly with clients through briefings, workshops, and conferences. The position offers the opportunity to have global impact while operating in a highly dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
- Deliver actionable, high-impact research and insights on cloud infrastructure, hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, and associated technology and business challenges.
- Advise clients on vendor selection, cloud adoption strategies, governance, security, sustainability, and optimization of IaaS and PaaS platforms.
- Engage with clients directly via virtual or in-person meetings, providing tailored recommendations and thought leadership.
- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring research quality, rigor, and relevance to client priorities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to anticipate opportunities and risks.
- Develop presentations and insights for conferences, workshops, and executive briefings to convey complex technical and strategic concepts clearly.
- Collaborate across teams to refine research processes, foster innovation, and deliver timely, high-quality insights.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, IT services, or technology research.
- Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP, Oracle OCI) and related IaaS, PaaS, and cloud infrastructure services.
- Proven experience in building cloud strategies, evaluating vendors, pricing models, and enterprise cloud adoption.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills with the ability to produce actionable insights.
- Executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders; able to advise and influence C-level clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience in multi-cloud, hybrid infrastructure, cloud security, and emerging technologies such as GenAI and edge computing.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across global teams, and manage multiple priorities in a remote, matrixed environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.
