This role focuses on driving high-impact, consultative sales within the employer benefits ecosystem, helping organizations address the challenges of employees facing serious and complex medical conditions. You will engage with employers, brokers, consultants, and insurers to position tailored solutions, expand distribution channels, and accelerate business growth. The role involves full-cycle sales ownership, from prospecting and pipeline development to closing multi-stakeholder deals. You will work collaboratively with leadership to shape strategies and market approaches while leveraging your industry relationships to maximize reach and impact. This position offers autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to influence commercial growth in a mission-driven, fast-growing environment.
- Drive new business development and exceed sales quotas through consultative selling to employers, brokers, consultants, TPAs, and captive insurers.
- Build, manage, and expand a healthy pipeline of high-value opportunities across the assigned region.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and guidance to clients navigating complex healthcare challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership to define go-to-market strategies, territory plans, and partnership approaches.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product positioning, strategy, and innovation.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams to ensure coordinated execution and client satisfaction.
- Represent the organization in key meetings, presentations, and industry events to promote brand awareness and credibility.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of proven success in complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales within the employer benefits or healthcare ecosystem.
- Established relationships and credibility with employers, benefits brokers, consultants, or related partners.
- Track record of full-cycle sales success, including prospecting, qualification, consultative selling, and closing deals.
- Self-directed, high-accountability individual contributor capable of operating independently.
- Exceptional communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams while driving individual targets.
- Experience selling point solutions into the employer market or working with employee benefits leaders is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales activity tracking systems.
