- Overnight shift only: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
The DoubleTree Hotel - Tucson Reid Park is seeking a FT night auditor. The positions is responsible for the nightly reconciliation of house accounts, room revenue, outlet revenue and postings, the daily close out of the current hotel business date, and ensuring financials are in accordance with the properties accounting procedures.
- Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily hotel transactions
- Accurately post room charges, taxes, and incidental charges to guest accounts
- Balance shift cash, check, and credit card transactions
- Run availability, occupancy, and revenue reports to ensure accurate room inventory
- Prepare and distribute end‑of‑day reports to department managers
- Ensure a smooth transition for the incoming morning shift
- Serve as the primary contact for overnight safety and security matters
- Remain alert to potential security risks and report concerns to the Supervisor or General Manager
- Follow key control procedures, emergency protocols, safety policies, and MSDS guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front and back-office areas
- Replenish coffee and water stations
- Complete all administrative documentation, checklists, and Communication Log entries accurately and on time
- Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by Management or the Management Company
- Sound judgment and strong decision‑making skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑pressure or emergency situations
- Comfortable interacting with law enforcement or emergency responders if needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain alert, focused, and awake throughout overnight hours
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours at a time, 8 hours per shift)
- Proficient in computer use for extended periods and multitasking in a shared workspace
- Prior customer service experience in a hospitality environment
- Front desk experience, preferably in a hotel setting
- Strong guest service and conflict‑resolution skills
- Proficiency with multi‑line phone systems
- Strong computer skills for data entry and report generation
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Previous Night Audit experience
- Familiarity with hotel auditing and overnight operational procedures
- Experience with premium or full‑service brands such as Hilton, Marriott, or IHG
- Knowledge of Hilton systems including OnQ or PEP PMS, Hilton Lobby, and Hilton Honors platforms
