Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
- Schedule: Part-time (Thursday through Sunday)
- Hours vary: 6:00 AM – 11:00AM and 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Must be available to work holidays and special events as needed
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Banquet Support Attendant to join our hospitality team. This hybrid role supports breakfast service and banquet operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Team Collaboration
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor and provide prompt, professional service
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and other departments
- Communicate effectively with Banquet Captain and Management to ensure seamless event execution
- Attend and participate in all training sessions and team meetings
Breakfast & Food Service Support
- Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast service areas
- Maintain buffet and food stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levels
- Run food trays to and from the kitchen and assist servers during service
- Clear tables and transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to dishwashing areas
Banquet Setup & Operations
- Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event orders and floor plans
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and service areas
- Monitor and maintain banquet inventory including linens, chairs, dishes, and décor
- Return all equipment to proper storage, ensuring it is clean and in good working order
- Notify management of any equipment issues or needed repairs
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and food & beverage operations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and special events
- Professional appearance and punctual attendance required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently and up to 50 lbs with assistance
- Ability to move tables, chairs, and equipment weighing approximately 40 lbs
Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment supporting events, meetings, and food service operations. Flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
