Oaknoll Retirement Residence is seeking a full-time Electrician to join our team! The qualified candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment throughout Oaknoll, and will ensure compliance with safety codes. Core job duties will include performing electrical remodeling and repair, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues with appropriate devices and tools, reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals, and responding promptly to requests for maintenance. Additional job duties will include, but are not limited too; assisting with moving residents' belongings when they change apartments or levels of care as requested, helping to clear snow as necessary, and assisting with other general maintenance tasks. Scheduled hours will be 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and a weekend of on-call maintenance approximately every 6 weeks. Some holidays and weekends will be required.

Requirements:- Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial/residential electrical maintenance, and be capable of doing low voltage work as well.
- Candidates must have a valid Iowa driver's license and be willing to provide a certified driving record.
- Candidates with their journeyman electirican license are preferred.
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly, and be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Candidates must be able to tactfully respond to staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
