Job Description
Macquarie Data Centres is entering an exciting phase of growth, underpinned by significant investment in a new multi–megawatt data centre facility in Sydney. As Head of Marketing, you will play a critical role in positioning Macquarie Data Centres as a leader within the global data centre ecosystem.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving brand awareness, thought leadership and highvalue demand generation across both wholesale and retail channels. You will design and execute integrated marketing programs spanning digital, social, traditional and eventled campaigns, while building a strong web presence that drives traffic, conversion and qualified sales opportunities.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across sales, product and executive leadership, you will shape gotomarket strategies, develop compelling value propositions, and deliver marketing programs that directly contribute to pipeline growth and revenue. With agency support and the opportunity to further build out the marketing function, this role offers both strategic influence and practical delivery in a fastgrowing, highimpact environment.

- 10 years + demand generation and marketing management experience
- Previous experience owning and managing the marketing function inclusive of budget with an eye on Marketing RoI
- Previous experience developing, executing and managing a marketing function with specific experience in the IT B2B industry
- Demonstrated expertise in SEO and SEM, with a proven track record of delivering high-performing organic and paid media outcomes.
- Experience designing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- Demonstrated ability to generate and convert Marketing and Sales Qualified Leads (MQLs/ SQL's)
- Experience managing marketing automation and CRM platforms
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams including sales, product and external agencies
- Ability to develop compelling messaging, content and value propositions for B2B audiences
- Strong reporting and analysis capability, with a focus on performance optimisation
- Degree qualified in Marketing or a related discipline
- 10+ years’ experience in demand generation or marketing management roles
- Background in B2B marketing, ideally within IT, technology, cloud or data centre environments
- Commercially minded, with a strong focus on pipeline contribution and revenue outcomes
- Resultsdriven, highly organised and comfortable working at pace
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing across the business
- Detailoriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy, proactive and motivated to champion brand growth and market leadership
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment with competing priorities
