The Assistant Athletic Director, Annual Giving is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and execution of the annual giving program, including but not limited to overseeing development services and donor relations initiatives, directing donor stewardship programs, managing fulfillment of Panther Club member benefits, and devising effective strategies to reach individuals, corporations, and foundations capable of donating.
Plans, administers, and directs a large department or multiple, small departments within Athletics. Interprets and implements strategic direction in assigned departments within Athletics. Conducts ongoing evaluation of programs to ensure compliance with University and department policies, procedures, and regulations.
Essential Functions
Manages the annual giving and special gifts program to increase donors, donations, and acquisition rates. Provides strategic direction and execution of the annual giving program. Oversees the development services and fulfillment of Panther Club benefits. Determines annual giving goals; creates plans, strategies, and timeline deliverables to achieve them. Oversees development meetings and meeting materials. Attends relevant events and meetings to promote the department while developing strategy in alignment with Athletic Department leadership.
