About This Position

Marketing & Content Specialist

The Marketing & Content Specialist is a key member of the Sales & Marketing Department, responsible for developing, executing, and managing marketing initiatives that support brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth. This role blends content creation, digital marketing execution, campaign support, and sales enablement. The Marketing & Content Specialist works closely with the VP of Sales & Marketing and the sales team to ensure messaging is consistent, compelling, and aligned with company objectives. This position requires strong creative ability, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into effective marketing materials and campaigns. This role is full-time in-person role with 5 days a week onsite in Essington, PA.
What You Will Be Doing
Content Development & Brand Messaging
  • Create high-quality marketing content including website copy, blog articles, case studies, email campaigns, sales collateral, and presentations.
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with leadership and sales to develop messaging that clearly communicates value propositions and differentiators.
  • Support the development of thought leadership content and industry positioning materials.
  • Assist in updating and refining brand standards and visual identity guidelines.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social media, website, and digital platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activity, including content scheduling, engagement, and performance monitoring.
  • Track marketing KPIs and campaign performance, providing reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with SEO optimization efforts and website content updates.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and marketing best practices.
Sales Enablement & Support
  • Develop and maintain sales materials including pitch decks, one-pagers, proposals, and product/service sheets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create targeted materials for specific accounts or vertical markets.
  • Support lead generation efforts through coordinated marketing initiatives.
  • Help maintain CRM data integrity related to marketing campaigns and lead tracking.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.
Events & Promotional Initiatives
  • Support planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, client engagements, and company-hosted events.
  • Coordinate marketing materials, signage, promotional assets, and follow-up campaigns.
  • Capture content (photos, video, testimonials) during events for future marketing use.
Reporting & Operational Excellence
  • Track marketing performance metrics including campaign ROI, engagement rates, and lead conversion.
  • Maintain organized libraries of marketing assets and digital files.
  • Build and manage spreadsheets or reporting dashboards to support marketing analysis.
  • Assist with budget tracking for marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with company policies and industry regulations.
Success in This Role
Success in this position is measured by consistent delivery of high-quality, on-brand marketing content; measurable contribution to lead generation and sales growth; effective campaign execution and performance tracking; strong collaboration with the sales team; and organized management of marketing assets and initiatives.
What You Bring
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Experience creating marketing collateral and supporting sales initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Experience managing social media platforms in a professional setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting performance data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a B2B environment.
  • Understanding of sales processes and marketing-to-sales alignment.
  • Experience supporting trade shows or industry events.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and digital advertising principles.
