Lake Worth, Florida 33461We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support our Specialty Group practice. In this role, you will perform both routine and complex laboratory testing while ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable results to our providers. This position plays a critical role in supporting clinical decision-making and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across areas including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and timely reporting of laboratory results
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers
• Adhere to established quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) protocols; identify and resolve discrepancies
• Accurately enter, verify, and release results within the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, and state requirements)
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to clarify orders and communicate critical values
• Ensure proper specimen handling, processing, and integrity
• Support efficient lab workflow while adapting to changing patient volumes
• Participate in validation studies, method comparisons, and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members as needed
• Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related life science required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of clinical laboratory experience
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required
• Active Florida Medical Laboratory Technologist license required
• Experience with laboratory information systems (LIS) and automated instrumentation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to patient care
• Knowledge of data privacy standards and healthcare regulations
• Flexibility to accommodate workflow demands and occasional extended hours
