  • Monitor and analyze regulatory proceedings, integrated resource planning cycles, VPP potential studies, and rate cases to inform business and policy decisions.
  • Represent the organization in stakeholder proceedings, utility workgroups, and industry conferences to promote software-enabled demand-side management solutions.
  • Advocate for innovative utility-led programs, energy storage incentives, and transportation electrification initiatives that maximize grid and customer value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align advocacy with product offerings and market strategy.
  • Produce regulatory comments, white papers, blogs, and thought leadership content to influence public policy and industry conversations.
  • Track national and regional policy trends and brief leadership on opportunities, risks, and potential business impacts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree with 47 years of experience, including at least 2 years in the energy sector; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the electricity industry, utility business models, and stakeholder landscape.
  • Experience with federal, state, and utility initiatives for distributed energy, demand-side management, or electric vehicles.
  • Skilled in analyzing complex data sets and drafting clear, persuasive regulatory documents and thought leadership materials.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar platforms for data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize high-leverage opportunities and balance long-term strategic objectives with short-term execution.
  • Preferred: 5+ years in energy or utility policy, familiarity with energy efficiency programs, regulatory proceedings, and utility customer programs.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of $100,000$125,000 USD with potential for growth and performance-based adjustments.
  • Comprehensive medical coverage with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees.
  • 401(k) plan with company match to support long-term financial planning.
  • Flexible work environment with options for remote work.
  • Paid parental leave and wellness benefits to support work-life balance.
  • Professional development opportunities including training, conference participation, and thought leadership exposure.
  • Casual and collaborative work environment with team-oriented culture and meaningful impact on the energy transition.
