About This Position

Our Company is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead our Houston area distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the assigned distribution center, including both warehousing activities and fleet management. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of goods to customers while optimizing fleet utilization and maintaining high standards of inventory management.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to take the reins of our distribution center and fleet operations. This is a high-impact role where you will balance inventory precision with transportation efficiency, ensuring our products reach customers on time, every time.

What You’ll Do

Drive Operations: Direct all daily warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
Optimize the Fleet: Take charge of vehicle scheduling, dispatching, and routing to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Master Inventory: Maintain gold-standard accuracy through rigorous control systems and regular physical counts.
Lead the Team: Recruit, train, and mentor a hardworking crew, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and high performance.
Improve Processes: Use data and Lean Six Sigma principles to track KPIs, slash costs, and streamline workflows using our WMS.
Safety First: Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for all staff.

What You Bring

Proven Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in warehouse management or a similar logistics leadership role.
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, required.
Leadership Grit: The ability to communicate effectively, solve complex problems, and stay cool under pressure.
Physical Readiness: Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Working Conditions
