JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the recruitment and oversight of the Adult and Youth Corps programs at Blessing Health. This includes Blessing Hospital, Illini Hospital and Blessing Health Hannibal. Development and coordination of volunteer programs along with supervision and record keeping of volunteer staff are core responsibilities of this position. The Volunteer Services Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Volunteer Services. Coordinates volunteer events and programs; attends community resource events for recruitment of volunteers
Positive personal skills (verbal, body language), enthusiasm for volunteering, and exceptional customer service knowledge and communication is required for this role. Marketing, recruitment and coordinating experience is also desired for this position.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience
REQUIRED:
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience leading groups or teams
  • Experience and confidence in public speaking
  • Proficient in office computer systems and presentation building
  • Marketing and event coordination experience

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Experience in Volunteer program administration and organization volunteer management certification.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
  • None
PAY STATUS
  • Non-exempt hourly
