Part Time Legal Intern – Workers’ Compensation at Parrish Devaughn PLLC – Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support Attorney to develop and revise appropriate legal strategies for discovery, investigation, mediation, handling, and trial/hearing of cases.

· Review and summarize medical records and employment files

· Assist in preparing and responding to written discovery, including drafting interrogatories, requests for production, and organizing client responses and supporting documentation

· Research applicable laws, regulations, and legal precedents to support attorneys.

· Assist Attorney to prepare for discovery, hearings, trials, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, and/or other legal proceedings relevant to cases.

· Comply with all legal standards and regulations.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by Managing Attorney.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree required

· Must be enrolled in JD program with an accredited Law School

· Eagerness to learn and collaborate

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
