Stock Control Team Lead
This position will focus on driving service excellence to our customers through frequent, continuous, and effective binand materials management within the Distribution Center. Performs other tasks as needed.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete routine cycle counts based on the prescribed method and frequency, completing
appropriate inventory adjustments as needed.
Run and manage the Cut Down report, directing team members to pull material to be cut, and
ensure that all adjustments are completed appropriately.
Physically process through returned materials to determine and divert material to stock directly
back to bins or to submit for salvage processing.
Communicate data from returns processing to Customer Service team for timely and accurate
credit processing to customers and warehouses.
Utilizing the Open Orders report, pull laminate from Non-Bin locations and remove material
that does not have active customer demand pending against it.
Effectively track all materials removed from bins and ensure that systematic inventory
adjustments are completed correctly.
Assist the Tree Rack team members to effectively manage the accuracy and safe storage of
materials on top of the bins.
Identify areas for improved stock management and opportunities for replenishment in the bin
areas.
Collaborate with Put Away and Tree Rack team members to restock to and from bins as
necessary.
Assist the Inventory team in the root cause identification of missing material in inventory.
Mandatory participation in quarterly inventory.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
Extensive knowledge of Wilsonart family brands products, patterns, and finishes.
Working knowledge of truck schedules and loading times.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate in person and via email.
Proactive mindset to identify and resolve distribution process issues.
Working knowledge of company policies and programs pertaining to safety and quality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED or will consider three years of relevant work history.
EXPERIENCE:
3+ years Experience in Distribution, and or Cut-To-Size.
WORKING CONDITIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment ofheavy weight (>50 lbs)
ENVIRONMENT:
Located in an indoor area with frequent exposure to mild physical discomfort from dust, fumes, temperature
extremes, loud noises and bright lights. Examples: mail clerks, material handlers
SCHEDULE:
Within this role it is necessary and most effective to operate during off schedule days or hours while theDistribution Center is not actively stocking or pulling from bin locations. The scheduled days and hours for teammembers will be subject to change.
