Senior Attorney (Remote)

In this impactful role, you will champion the defense for insured individuals and businesses, managing complex bodily injury and property damage lawsuits. Your expertise will guide legal teams and business clients through mediations, arbitrations, and trials, ensuring adherence to ever-changing regulations. Accountabilities- Represents insured individuals and the company in various legal defenses.
- Prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
- Drafts and presents pre- and post-trial motions.
- Collaborates with colleagues to resolve calendar conflicts.
- Counsels business clients on daily legal matters.
- Manages projects, ensuring coordination among legal teams.
- Stays updated on new laws and regulations, providing proactive advice.
- Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- 3+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation skills.
- Preferred first or second chair jury trial experience.
- Experience in insurance defense is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and legal research.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with legal staff.
- Ability to manage a substantial caseload in a remote setting.
