Mechanic at Russell Landscape – Lawrenceville, Georgia

Russell Landscape is looking for a Senior lead mechanic to keep our trucks and equipment running and lead our shop team. This role will handle everything from scheduling maintenance to turning a wrench when needed.What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily shop operations and oversee 1–2 mechanics.
• Keep up with maintenance and repairs on 48 trucks (Isuzu and others) and 275+ pieces of equipment (mowers, skid steers, trailers, small engines).
• Diagnose and repair issues on trucks and landscape equipment.
• Schedule preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Track service records, parts, and shop inventory.
• Work with operations to prioritize repairs and support crews in the field.
• Make sure all work is done safely and efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong hands-on experience with small engines, mowers, skid steers, trailers, and trucks (Isuzu experience is a plus).
• Previous experience running or helping manage a shop.
• Ability to lead a small team and keep workflow organized.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize.
• Dependable, safety-focused, and organized.
