This role is a key technical customer-facing position focused on ensuring the reliability, performance, and stability of advanced medical imaging systems used across healthcare environments. You will act as a critical escalation point for complex technical issues, supporting both internal teams and external healthcare customers. The position involves troubleshooting infrastructure, software, and integration challenges across imaging workflows, ensuring timely resolution and high system availability. You will work closely with engineering, product, and implementation teams to diagnose root causes and deliver sustainable solutions. In this role, you will also contribute to improving documentation, knowledge bases, and operational processes to enhance future support efficiency. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring strong technical depth and a customer-first mindset. - Provide advanced technical support and act as an escalation point for complex issues related to medical imaging platforms and associated infrastructure.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, networking, and integration issues across RIS, PACS, VNA, and related systems.
- Manage inbound and outbound customer interactions while ensuring accurate documentation of issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution of incidents and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Perform system maintenance activities, including remote upgrades and preventative checks to ensure stability and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal knowledge bases by documenting root causes, solutions, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or working with medical information systems such as RIS, PACS, HIS, or EMR platforms.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and enterprise server environments.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and system integration in complex IT environments.
- Familiarity with healthcare imaging workflows and standards such as DICOM and HL7 is highly preferred.
- Experience with databases such as SQL, DB2, or Oracle is an advantage.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Perl, Java, VB, or similar) is a plus for troubleshooting and automation tasks.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Medical Informatics, or equivalent experience preferred.
