Full Time Dining Services Worker II at Westminster-Canterbury of Lynchburg – Lynchburg, Virginia

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Full-Time Dining Services Worker II to join our team! Full-time position available with a complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with company match, and more. Hours are 11AM to 7:30PM.

• Performs food service tasks to prepare hot and cold food and beverage items for service during meals.
• Cross-trained in all front of the house areas including cash register, salad station, deli and grill stations.
• Stock the beverage area, grab and go items, service ware, and condiments
• Prepare the dining room with all appropriate tableware and decoration for meal service.
• Assists with special functions/catering throughout the community as needed.
• Assist customers while in all dining/service areas.

• Previous cooking experience preferred 1-2 years
• Good working knowledge of food preparation
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
• Experience with cash handling operations and procedures
