Bar Manager at V Pizza Gainesville – Gainesville, Florida

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bar Manager who can provide an excellent drinking experience for our guests. Sidecar offers unique house cocktails, microbrews, and specializes in its whiskey selection. The cocktail menu consists of the standard classics, classics with our own twists, and a seasonal menu crafted by our own team.

Responsibilities and Duties

The main functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Offer world-class service
• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks
• Assess a customer’s needs and preferences and make appropriate recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare craft cocktails
• Plan and present bar menus
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age requirements
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food, beverage, and health safety regulations
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
• As a part of management, you will be expected to uphold certain responsibilities like scheduling, beverage ordering, cash handling, etc.

Qualifications and skills

• High level hospitality and a love for the craft is essential!
• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender, preferred 2 years of management background
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills is a MUST
• Relevant training certificate (BARSMARTS) is not required but preferred
