About This Position
Description:
The Detailer Supervisor oversees a team of automotive detailers responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of vehicles. They ensure that vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, both inside and out, and that any necessary repairs or touch-ups are completed. The Detailer Supervisor assigns tasks to detailers, monitors their work, and provides guidance and training as needed. They also maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and may be responsible for scheduling and coordinating detailer shifts. The Detailer Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are presented in the best possible condition to customers.
Requirements:- Oversee day-to-day detailing operations, ensuring that services are performed efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate the detailing team, assigning tasks and ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide training to new and existing staff on detailing techniques, safety practices, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections of completed detailing work to ensure it meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Interact with customers to understand their detailing needs, address any concerns, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of detailing supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Create and manage work schedules for the detailing team to optimize workflow and accommodate customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
- Address any operational issues or challenges that arise during the detailing process, implementing solutions as needed.
- Maintain records of detailing jobs completed, customer feedback, and any incidents or accidents that occur, reporting to management as necessary.
