Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support our growing manufacturing operations. This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and ensuring a smooth month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments
• Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures
• Prepare monthly financial statement packages and compliance reports
• Maintain and update the general ledger
• Oversee accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and payroll processing
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow
• Develop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets
• Respond to requests for financial data and documentation
• Prepare year-end workpapers for audit and tax filing
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
