It fails at integration.

This role ensures it does.

Blackrock Strategy is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support the integration, evaluation, and operational alignment of mission systems across complex, multi-organization environments.

This role focuses on understanding how systems perform, where they break, and how they operate together in real-world mission conditions. You will work across government, engineering, and program stakeholders to ensure systems align with mission objectives and that risks, gaps, and integration challenges are identified early.

You will interface directly with government stakeholders and technical teams, shaping how technologies are evaluated, integrated, and executed in operational environments.

  • Contribute to technical documentation, including briefings, reports, and system assessments
  • Support evaluation of emerging technologies transitioning into operational use
  • Maintain awareness of system architecture, interfaces, and integration constraints
  • Assist in aligning technical efforts across multiple organizations and stakeholders

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (ABET accredited, preferred)
  • Experience in systems engineering, system integration, or technical program support
  • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government programs
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working across multiple organizations or stakeholder groups
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting government program offices, advisory roles, or integration-focused environments

  • Experience supporting cross-organizational coordination and integration efforts
