This senior leadership role is responsible for driving engineering strategy, execution, and operational excellence across a multi-product SaaS portfolio within the Wedding & Events vertical.
The position oversees distributed engineering teams supporting multiple platforms, with a strong focus on delivery predictability, scalability, and system reliability.
It plays a critical role in modernizing engineering practices while embedding AI-driven development approaches to improve productivity and speed of delivery.
Working closely with Product, Design, and Business leaders, the role ensures technology execution directly supports revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention goals.
The leader will define and standardize engineering practices across business units, enabling greater alignment, efficiency, and technical consistency.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technology executive who thrives in scaling environments and is passionate about combining engineering excellence with AI-enabled innovation.
It requires a balance of strategic vision, operational discipline, and strong people leadership across engineering management teams.
- Lead end-to-end engineering execution across multiple SaaS products, ensuring predictable delivery aligned with roadmap priorities and business goals.
- Partner with Product, Design, and QA to improve development velocity, quality, and customer impact across the portfolio.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards for scalability, reliability, security, and code quality.
- Drive platform modernization, technical debt reduction, and adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Own and evolve operating models (pods, sprints, workflows) to improve collaboration and delivery efficiency.
- Manage Engineering Managers and distributed teams, fostering accountability, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for shared services, platform alignment, and AI-enabled product innovation.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams or product lines in a SaaS environment.
- Strong background in scalable, customer-facing platforms and complex system architectures.
- Demonstrated success in building and developing Engineering Managers and high-performing teams.
- Experience improving delivery predictability, operational excellence, and engineering productivity.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical execution and measurable outcomes.
- Experience with cloud-native systems, platform modernization, and AI-driven development or automation tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
