Landscapes Golf Management and Manhattan Country Club are seeking a Clubhouse Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our club facilities. JOB SUMMARY
Completes or coordinates all clubhouse repairs and general preventative maintenance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with the values of LGM.
- Performs minor repairs, including light bulb changes, plumbing, minor electrical and HVAC repairs, painting and other preventative maintenance.
- Ensures that all building maintenance, repair and cleaning activities are identified, scheduled and completed timely.
- Ensures that all trash is properly removed from the clubhouse and its premises.
- Responds to emergencies at any time.
- Collects maintenance and work orders from department heads for approval by the General Manager.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning, maintenance, repair and related supplies.
- Assists with preparation of special functions, parties, tournaments, etc., by setting up tables and chairs, installing decorations and constructing display pieces.
- Assists with housekeeping as necessary including cleaning toilets, sinks and floors, vacuuming, dusting windows, doors and shelves, replacing toilet paper and paper towels, laundering and folding linens and towels.
- Maintains all current building and safety codes and complies with all safety regulations.
- Attends and actively participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club and the Company by being service- and solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all club staff and members/guests, and meeting established quality, service and safety expectations.
- Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
- Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and safety conscious.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school education required, college degree preferred.
- 1-year building maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Seeing and hearing: read documents, computer screen, answer phones, communicate in person 0-24%
- Reaching above head, bending at the waist 75-100%
- Standing and walking 75-100%
- Climbing, stooping, squatting and kneeling 50-75%
- Dexterity: utilizing phone, typing, and writing 0-24%
- Lift in excess of 50 pounds 25%-75%
- Lifts 10 to 20 pounds regularly 75-100%
